Magalies Juice Concentrates

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your Magalies product, you may return it in accordance with the policy below.

Return Period:
You may return any eligible product within 7 days from the date of delivery.

Eligibility Criteria:
  1. The product must be unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.
  2. Products that have been opened, consumed, or damaged after delivery cannot be returned.
Refunds:
  1. Refunds will be processed for the full purchase price, less shipping costs.
  2. A returns handling fee may apply.

Catering Equipment – Returns & Refunds Policy

We aim to ensure that all catering equipment purchased through Magalies meets your expectations. As these items are shipped directly from our supplier, returns and warranty claims follow the supplier’s inspection process in line with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

Returns of Unused Goods
Unused goods may be returned for credit or refund (upon request) if:
  • They are in their original packaging with all manuals, warranty cards, spare parts, and accessories included.
  •  A copy of the original invoice is provided.
  • You notify us in writing within 14 business days from the date of invoice.
  • Customers are responsible for the cost of returning goods to the supplier warehouse.
  • A handling fee of up to 20% may apply.
  • Goods may be refused for credit if they have been modified, have tampered labels, mismatched serial numbers, or do not meet inspection standards.
  • Electrical parts and components are non-returnable after purchase.
Damaged or Defective Good
Damaged or defective goods may be returned for credit or replacement if:
  • The damage occurred prior to delivery.
  • Written notice is given to Magalies within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Goods are returned within 48 hours after notifying Magalies.
  • Only material defects qualify for return. Minor scratches, dents, or marks that do not affect usage are excluded.
Warranty Coverage
  • All electrical and gas catering equipment carries a 1-year warranty from the date of sale.
  • Warranty covers parts, labour, and travel costs within a 60 km radius from the supplier’s service centre.
  • Goods must be installed by a qualified technician (registered with the appropriate gas/electrical body).
  • Carry-on/countertop goods also carry a 1-year warranty but must be transported to an accredited service centre at the customer’s cost.
  • Early termination applies if goods are repaired or installed by unauthorised technicians, if surge protection is not used, or if installation guidelines are not followed.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
  • Normal wear-and-tear parts (e.g., blades, belts, seals, light bulbs, bearings).
  • Cosmetic issues (e.g., scratches, rust, paint peeling) not affecting functionality.
  • Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, negligence, poor water/electricity supply, or unauthorised repairs.
  • Products exported outside of South Africa.
Warranty Claims Process
To log a warranty claim, customers must:
  1. Notify Magalies via email with their original order number.
  2. Provide photos/videos of the issue.
  3. Our supplier’s technician will contact you to assess the problem, either remotely or via a call-out after ticket has been logged and reviewed.
  4. If the issue is not covered under warranty, a call-out fee and labour charges will apply.
  5. Replacement parts/repairs carry a 3-month warranty.

RETURN POLICY

Kitchen Brands – Returns & Refunds Policy

The returns and refunds policy is applicable to the following kitchen brands: Miyabi, Yammi, Zwilling, Magimix, and Staub.

We strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Since our kitchen brand products are shipped directly from our trusted supplier, all returns and inspections are carried out in accordance with their procedures and the Consumer Protection Act, Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”).

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Deliveries
  • If you receive a product that is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery so that we can resolve the matter quickly.
  • Always inspect your goods upon delivery.
  • If you are not satisfied with the condition of your order, do not accept the goods.
  • Any issues should be noted on the delivery waybill, and the delivery must be rejected.
Please note: failure to inspect and endorse the delivery note may affect your ability to exchange products.

Incorrect Items or Quantity
If you receive an incorrect item or an incorrect quantity of items, please notify us immediately. We will arrange collection of the incorrect products and ensure the correct items are dispatched to you as soon as possible.

General Returns & Exchanges
  • You may return or exchange goods within the applicable return period, provided you have the original proof of purchase and the product is in its original packaging and condition.
  • If the product is not returned in its original packaging, a handling fee of up to 15% of the product’s value may apply. 
Certain products are non-returnable/non-refundable, including:
  • Delivery and installation costs
  • Digital content
  • Damaged, abused, or modified items
  • Faulty/defective products after 14 days without proof of warranty claim
Faulty or Defective Products
If your product becomes faulty or defective within the first six months from delivery, you are entitled (after inspection) to one of the following:
  1. Repair of the product
  2. Replacement of the product
  3. Refund of the purchase price
If the product is found not to be faulty, you will be liable for all handling and shipping costs (including collection and re-delivery). Products damaged due to misuse, abuse, negligence, incorrect installation, or non-compliance with the manufacturer’s instructions will not be covered.

Warranty & Exclusions
  • All goods carry an implied warranty under the CPA, alongside any manufacturer’s warranty that may apply.
The warranty does not cover defects caused by:
  • Foreign objects or connection errors not part of the appliance
  • Incorrect or abnormal electrical/water supply
  • Use of unapproved accessories
  • Wear and tear items such as batteries, filters, belts, light bulbs, and hoses
  • Cosmetic issues (e.g., paint peeling, discolouration, scratches) that do not affect performance
  • Rust or corrosion
  • Damage from power surges, lightning strikes, misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repairs
  • Products purchased during clearance sales or “unboxed” deals are sold as is and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Return Conditions
  • Returns must be arranged through our customer service team, who will coordinate with the supplier for inspection.
  • Goods must be securely packaged for transport, and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed under CPA provisions.
  • Refunds are processed via your original payment method and may take up to 30 working days after we have received and inspected the goods.
