FAQ - What are the delivery charges for orders with Magalies Citrus Online?

All orders over R1500 get free shipping automatically. Any order below R1500 will incur a shipping charge depending on the delivery location provided, and the volumetric weight of your total order.

You can also add your desired items to your cart, and calculate your shipping cost with your delivery details at checkout.

FAQ - How long will delivery take?

We aim to deliver within 2 - 7 working days to anywhere in South Africa, depending on where you are located.

Please allow for up to 7-14 working days for all catering equipment.

Please allow for up to 10 working days for orders over R10,000.

Please note we do not dispatch orders over weekends and over public holidays. Orders received on these days will be dispatched on the following working day.

FAQ - I have not received my delivery, and the stated delivery time has passed?

On rare occasions or in remote areas delays can happen. If the expected delivery times are exceeded significantly, please contact us on +27122569000 or at info@magaliescitrusonline.co.za  with your order number and we will track your shipment and update you accordingly. Rest assured that you will receive your shipment, even if it means that we have to send you a replacement.

FAQ - I have tracked my order and the courier company has been 2km away for the past hour, what should I do?

We make use of a number of different courier companies to deliver our awesome products to you. We do however have a fantastic system in place that enables you to check up on the status of your delivery, as well as send you emails or sms’s to you to keep you in the loop. That way, you can always easily see what is happening with your delivery.

FAQ - It is 16h00 and I have still not received my delivery, what should I do?

When we book deliveries with our courier companies it is standard practice to request a delivery before 16h00. This does not always mean that delivery will take place before 16h00, on rare occasions the courier company may deem your delivery address an outlying area (especially residential addresses) and as a result only deliver after 16h00. Should you need to leave the address after 16h00 for any reason and are afraid you will miss the delivery, please note that our courier company has been instructed to give you a call, and attempt delivery the following week or day, should no one be available at the time of delivery.

FAQ - Is VAT included in your products?

Yes! VAT is already included on all our products on the online shop. When you receive an invoice, you will see that the subtotal and the final total will be the exact same amount. VAT will be displayed on your invoice.

FAQ - How can I add my VAT number to my invoice?

Simply add your VAT number at check out, or into the company name bar, next to your company name.

FAQ - Can I purchase from your Magalies physical stores/ or distribution centers?

No, our Catering Equipment is exclusively available for purchase through our online platform. We operate on a drop-shipment model, ensuring that you can conveniently browse and purchase our products from the comfort of your own home via our secure online store.

FAQ - Can I view the catering equipment before I purchase it?

Yes, you can. However, viewings are available exclusively at our warehouse locations in Cape Town or Johannesburg, subject to stock availability on the floor. To ensure personalized assistance during your visit, appointments must be scheduled in advance. Please contact us to arrange a suitable time for your viewing experience.

FAQ - Do we need to pay online, or can we send an email or WhatsApp to inquire about stock/pricing or to receive an invoice? We need to get an invoice to ensure our finance department makes the payment via EFT.

While our online platform provides a convenient way to make purchases, we also accommodate inquiries and invoicing via email or WhatsApp. If you prefer to receive an invoice for payment via EFT, simply reach out to our team with your requirements, and we'll promptly assist you. FAQ: I don't want to wait for your courier delivery times. Can I send my own courier?

Absolutely. If you prefer to expedite the delivery process, you have the option to arrange your own courier or personally collect the item from our designated warehouses in Johannesburg or Cape Town, provided there is available stock on the floor. It's important to note that once you opt for this method, the liability for the equipment during transit shifts to you. Please consider this aspect when deciding on your preferred delivery method.

FAQ: Can I request overnight delivery?

Yes, you can. However, please note that we will need to obtain a quote from an overnight courier service for delivery to the address provided by you. Once we have the quote, we will inform you of the cost of overnight delivery. It's important to be aware that if you opt for overnight delivery on a Friday, the courier may not deliver on Saturday, especially if you reside outside a local area. If Saturday delivery is essential, we can request a special quote for overnight and weekend delivery, though this may incur additional costs. Please remember to request a quote from us before confirming overnight delivery. Additionally, please note that we cannot organize overnight delivery after 1 pm on any given day, as the courier requires time to collect your parcel from supplier warehouse.
