01. What are the delivery charges for orders with Magalies Citrus Online?
Fruit juice concentrates:
Delivery charges are calculated based on your location and the volumetric weight of your order.
Spend over R1500 and enjoy free delivery anywhere in South Africa.
Self-collection:
Self-collection may be available on selected products. Please contact us to confirm availability and collection arrangements before placing your order.
02. How long will delivery take?
- Standard delivery takes 2–10 working days, depending on your location, courier service, and stock availability.
- Delivery timeframes apply from the date of dispatch, not the date the order is placed.
- Orders placed over weekends or public holidays are processed on the next working day. Processing includes order verification and preparation at the relevant distribution centre, and does not mean the order has already been shipped.
- Orders with a total value exceeding R10 000 may require additional processing and verification. Please allow up to 10 working days for delivery.
- Magalies Citrus Online operates from limited distribution centers. If stock is unavailable at the closest distribution center, your order may be dispatched from our Brits head office or another distribution center, which may extend delivery time.
- Courier delivery times vary by region. Main metropolitan areas are typically delivered sooner than outlying or remote areas.
- Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by courier capacity, weather conditions, or operational delays beyond our control.
03. I have not received my delivery, and the stated delivery time has passed?
- When Magalies Citrus Online arranges delivery, the responsibility for the order remains with us until delivery is completed, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
- Where a customer chooses to collect an order or arrange their own courier, all transit risk and liability transfer to the customer once the order leaves our distribution center.
- During high-volume courier periods, such as November and December as well as the Easter period in South Africa, deliveries may take longer than usual due to increased national courier demand.
- If your delivery has exceeded the stated delivery timeframe by more than one working day, please contact us with your order number so that we can log a follow-up with the courier on your behalf.
- Please note that we work with third-party courier companies. Once a follow-up is logged, we are required to wait for feedback from the courier before we can provide updates or take further action.
- While we actively monitor and escalate delivery issues where necessary, we are unable to provide immediate resolutions while a courier investigation is in progress.
- If a parcel is confirmed as lost or undeliverable, a replacement or refund will be arranged in line with our delivery policy.
04. Can I arrange my own courier if I prefer not to wait for your standard delivery times
Absolutely. You’re welcome to use your own courier or collect from our warehouses, depending on stock availability. Please note, once collected, transit liability rests with you.
05. Can I request overnight delivery?
Yes, we can arrange overnight delivery. Please request a quote before 1 pm. Note: Friday shipments may not arrive Saturday, especially in outlying areas. Weekend delivery is possible on request but may cost extra.
06. I have tracked my order and the courier company has been 2km away for the past hour, what should I do?
- We make use of a number of different courier companies to deliver our awesome products to you. We do however have a fantastic system in place that enables you to check up on the status of your delivery, as well as send you emails or sms’s to you to keep you in the loop. That way, you can always easily see what is happening with your delivery.

07. It is 16h00 and I have still not received my delivery, what should I do?
When we book deliveries with our courier companies it is standard practice to request a delivery before 16h00. This does not always mean that delivery will take place before 16h00, on rare occasions the courier company may deem your delivery address an outlying area (especially residential addresses) and as a result only deliver after 16h00. Should you need to leave the address after 16h00 for any reason and are afraid you will miss the delivery, please note that our courier company has been instructed to give you a call, and attempt delivery the following week or day, should no one be available at the time of delivery.
